I applied for this particular program under Child Health Family International (CFHI) in January of 2015. CFHI is a non-governmental organization (NGO) whose mission is to help educate health science students and institutions on a global scale. More than 20 diverse programs are organized by CFHI across the world, with locations ranging from South Africa to the Philippines. One of these programs in particular happened to catch my eye: the Maternal & Child Health program.
I have decided to make a blog chronicling my daily experiences, not only for memory's sake but in the hopes that others who read this become galvanized to go on their own adventures.
